Improving bone health through the use of the Co-designed OsteoPorosis Tookit for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities (COPT-CALD)
This project, led by Clarice Tang, aimed to expand the initial COPT-CALD tool to include information related to diagnosis, treatment commencement, and adherence phases of the care continuum for people from Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Mandarin speaking backgrounds, as well as to adapt the toolkit to include the Arabic-speaking communities. The outcomes of this project were achieved through three phases: (a) needs identification; (b) develop COPT-CALD 2.0; and (c) evaluate COPT-CALD 2.0 for the tool’s feasibility and acceptability. The pilot findings from this study have been used as background information for the 2023 MRFF consumer-led grant.
