NSW Cancer Research Education Seminar

Novel molecular paradigms in colorectal malignancy - surgical and medical oncology perspectives

In collaboration with Sydney Cancer Partners and the NSW Regional Cancer Research Network, the Maridulu Budyari Gumal (SPHERE) Cancer Clinical Academic Group will host the October Molecular Tumour Board as part of the NSW Cancer Research Education Statewide Seminar Series.

This will be held Tuesday, 21st October 12.30pm - 1.30pm via Microsoft Teams.

Session Information
A Molecular Tumour Board (MTB) is a multi-disciplinary forum for discussion, interpretation and communication about molecular results that may have implications for patient care. MTBs often include geneticists, bioinformaticians and molecular biologists in addition to clinical disciplines such as oncology, surgery, radiotherapy and pathology.

The NSW Cancer Research Education Seminar Series will feature educational Molecular Tumour Board (MTB) sessions, including case-based presentations from MTBs working across both paediatric and adult cancers. These sessions offer a valuable opportunity to share knowledge across cancer types, spark new research ideas, and foster collaboration.

Dr Madhawa De Silva, Northern Beaches Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, and Royal North Shore Hospital.
