Cancer Clinical Theme PhD Workshops: Academic Success and Wellbeing

Undertaking a PhD and then navigating a career pathway in cancer can be such an exciting time- yet it can also be daunting and overwhelming!

Maridulu Budyari Gumal, the Sydney Partnerships for Health, Education, Research and Enterprise (SPHERE) Cancer Clinical Theme is excited to bring together a series of workshops to holistically support PhD candidates (with a research focus on cancer) in academic resilience and wellbeing.

Workshop # 1 Seven Secrets of Highly Successful Research Students
This workshop describes the key habits required to successfully complete a PhD based on research and experience with thousands of students. Just as importantly, how these habits can greatly reduce stress and increase pleasure along the journey of completion.
