New training partners strengthen Health Translation Launchpad commercial track

speaker at business convention and presentation.

SPHERE has welcomed five specialist training partners to the Health Translation Launchpad, bringing practical expertise across key stages of the commercialisation pathway.

Value-Based Access, HTANALYSTS, Baxter IP, Mimetic and MedTech Platypus will support participants in the Launchpad commercial track, providing practical advice, tools and industry insights to support the translation of health research and innovation.

The training partners will contribute expertise across a range of areas:

  • Value-Based Access – market access and understanding the pathway for bringing new health technologies to market.
  • HTANALYSTS – health technology assessment and reimbursement pathways.
  • Baxter IP – intellectual property strategy and patents.
  • Mimetic – practical considerations involved in taking medical technology to market.
  • MedTech Platypus – pre-clinical validation, ethics, clinical development and clinical trial design.

Together, the partners bring industry experience across many of the commercial, clinical and strategic decisions involved in translating health research and innovation.

Their involvement strengthens the Launchpad’s practical approach, giving participants access to specialist expertise that can help them assess their options, address challenges and make informed decisions about the next stage of development.

In addition to the commercial track, the Health Translation Launchpad has a non-commercial track for participants developing a model of care, clinical protocol, service redesign or community health program. Sessions cover implementation science, health system navigation, health economics and pathways to adoption.

Together, the two tracks (commercial and non-commercial) support different pathways to the same goal: translating promising innovations into practice to improve health care and outcomes for patients and communities.
